Muse

What would we do without our muses, those inspirational people, who time and time again are able to guide us back to our core and help us to create? Especially during months of lockdown, when all the lights seem dimmed, we need to be reminded of who we are and what we need and want.
In my case, every time I feel uninspired, over tired, numb or nervous, I return to my muse Christian Redl. For 25 years I have felt that he looks very much like how I feel I should look like. I should have this face. That would make so much sense to me. And his voice and message describe the inside of my mind. I can not get any closer to describe it myself. One look at Redl is like touching my ‘self’. I relax and I can get to work. It is nothing romantic, but he is more like my mirror who reflects my inside in the most positive way.
